This may have to do with the language. The language for the menus change for all except for the MMSYSTEM. As the parameters in German are not the same as in other languages, that's why the error message appears. I can bet this does not happen in any computer with WIN95/98 in German. I am affected too..., maybe we have to buy WIN 98 to Chessbase too :)))
