since it is the CB gui changing the parameters , the fix will have to be in the chessbase GUI. I wonder why a GUI changes parameters in a foreign UCI engine. This makes not much sense IMO. it only would make sense if the GUI developer would like to weaken the engine. IMO the UCI guys should better produce a log-file each session where they write in the engine-setting. this way one could LOOK without using the parameter window in the GUI which parameters are set up. Ed Schroeder uses this in Pro Deo, in the file param.txt
