Yesterday I've downloaded the freeware Fritz 5.32 GUI + engine. It looks very promising indeed. I've been only using Arena so far for both playing against engines and eng-eng matches. It looks like Fritz 5.32 is more suitable for playing against (at least, it has coaching and some other interesting features and settings). My questions: - On the Chessbase site there are some other freeware engines for download. Is it true that these engines play significantly weaker under Fritz 5.32 because of some hashing bugs (they cannot use hash tables or so)? - There are some UCI engines too. Is it possible to install them under Fritz 5.32? - What is "spy" under the Coach menu? The help file is very limited, so I couldn't find answers for these questions. TIA, Robert
