Three weeks ago, I did the same tourney at 'strict blitz' of 4 min. + 2 sec. per
game. Now I have done it at 25 min./game. My idea is to perform a 'quick and
dirty test' with three legs, only to have the feeling of how the programmes
behave in different time controls.

The third and probably last Tourney will be played at a longer time control.
Perhaps 40/40 etc., althoug this will last almost two weeks to be completed.
After the three tests, knowing that the numer of games is not big enough to draw
serious conclusions, I will try to understand a little bit more about the
behaviour of these 20 programmes runnig under three very different time
controls.

In this intermediate test, we can find relevant diferences in relation to the
previous one, won by Spike 1.0 Mainz. Clear, net win for Pro Deo 1.0 despite its
loss against Gaurung Mainz in round 9.

By the way... how I enjoy the oldie Phalanx (perhaps five years old?) fighting
against the new lions!. If its author Dusan Dobes, I think, read this lines, my
congratulations to him.

Cheers,

Tom.
