No. I have also WinXP Pro + SP2, and just installed Winboard without any problem. But I've noticed earlier that some compiles of Winboard can not install on some PCs. E.g. it installed without any problem on a PC with Intel P4, but couldn't install on another PC with Athlon Duron 850. Both PCs had WinXP Pro SP2. Robert
