*This is default full analysis and blundercheck by Deep Shredder 9 UCI on a 2.6
GHZ pc. "Bd6 and g6 nails it down". True, yet S9.1 still plays cxb3 with seconds
to spare. Not sure if a hash error or generally an error. Im not to question
S9.1`s decisions. Also played Pocket Fritz on Ipaq 2200 and still searching for
an illusive win although on some occasions gaining a favourable kingside
position although PF2 evaluated this as very optimistic for itself, then i lost
gradually. A 5 min game v Hiarcs 9.50a went well until like PF2 a near
winning/drawing position turned to a losing one. Also, is PF2 book + engine
remorsefully attacking in open positons and sacrficial and is hiarcs renowned
for human like play ? I`ll keep trying until i find a solid enough strategy as
these programs appear to have chess personalities/particular styles which take
time to adapt to. Don`t always play e4 or d4 against a program unless your a GM
as you might open the position up to much allowing more room for program
calculation from optimized books. Although most players might have better
chances in a longer game like 40/2 if you have anti-program ideas or not!
You`re still able to exploit their weaknesses adequately.
P.s;
I first got in to comp chess when beating a cheap toy like-palm with a chess
game on it in 12 moves by sacrificng a bishop on f7 thus using kingside pawns, a
knight via g5 and queen. I honestly didn`t know this was a type of anti-computer
strategy. Yet, was able enough to know the comp didn`t like this cocktail.
Before so it seemed to beat me consistently using a 500 game select database of
Fischer, Kasparov, Anand and Krmanik.I was happy to play their repertoires!
(I`ll do a check for Fischer taking a liking to b4 opening in his career as this
is an extremely intelligent move).
The score was 2-2 from a series of games and in one particular game with white
the fiesty program sacrificed a knight for a pawn on e6. I was temporarily
stunned. Forced to look it up in Chessbase 9 and found that most GM`s considered
this a winning line. How dare the program play like a GM!
I wanted vengence so i decided to take it all apart(don`t recommend this)and see
how it was functioning. To my amusement what looked like a Deep Blue chip was
actually a mere 10 MHZ chip with some ROM and writing on the front.
It read........IBM ACCESS ONLY.
Ok, so the 1st paragraph is true and the 2nd comp chess fantasy or is it ?
Let it it inspire you.
Regards.
