I really wanted to put this issue to rest, but my name keeps popping up today in posts. I want to clear the air. My main concern in the first place was that there may have been a number of people on the forum who were ordering and paying good money for a product that in some cases might not be the full version. I felt they had a right to know that. Chryl Maddox of Chessbase USA asked me if i would make the post that I made. She told me today she was sorry for the mix up as far as ICD was concerned. She says she knows Steve well, and had no idea that this forum was also owned by him. She would never do anything to hurt his sales, as his versions will be full versions, because they come from her. She sells to him wholesale. She said under those circumstances she fully understands the reason for the post deletions, and she has a good working relationship with Steve. The problem arose when a certain person insinuated that some referral money was being paid to person and/or persons. I certainly havent received any money. And how Chryl would receive any is beyond me. Who exactly would pay her this money. Her employer? She has none. She and her husband Don ARE SOLE OWNERS of Chessbase USA. She said possibly her husband is sending her a check she is not aware of yet. Hopefully this can be put to rest once and for all. I just feel that before anyone makes an accusation about another's intentions, they should check their facts first. Regards, George
