This was specifically discussed by the founder's group. The intent was most certainly *not* to ban all reference to commercial products. If someone wants to say that their thing is for sale, and you can get it wherever, I think we would have been okay with this. If someone came here and explained how you should buy their thing because it beats Fritz 8 out of 10 and has "advanced intelligence", I think we would have not been okay with that. I say this not because I think that my opinions carry any more weight, but because people want to interpret the phrase about commercial exhortation, and I think that I can clarify what this phrase means since I was there when it was coined. As far as what *should* be here, I don't think that we are flooded by this stuff, and many people do want to know about new products, so it should be fine to make that kind of announcement. bruce
