Do you mean for the following post

I think that this post does not say that tuning parameters for the current fruit
is fruitless but only that tuning history pruning may be not useful for future
fruit.

I wonder if the post of Joachim means that we can expect some changes(hopefully
improvements) in the next free update of fruit that is not based on adding
tablebases.

I see no information about it in the page of future plans in
http://www.fruitchess.com/future-plans.htm
