It is also worth noting that the bug you refer to whereby the Fruit parameters
are turned off only happens when you are using the latest September 2005
gu18.iup version of the CB GUI.

If you change to the Jan 2005 version of gui8.iup the problems/bugs with Fruit
2.2 go away. I've just done it myself. Everything now works fine and I can
change and save engibne parameters. I can also now use Fruit's own book
(book.bin) which was also afected by a bug in the Sept 2005 GUI.
