DTC = depth to conversion, i.e. 'change of force' and/or mate.

Certainly, when there is a change of force, the move-counter is zet to zero.


But a Pawn-advance also sets the move-counter to zero, and terminates a 'DTZ
phase'.  Therefore DTZ is not necessarily the same as DTC when there are Pawns
on the board - even though DTC == DTZ when there are no Pawns on the board.

For example:

For KPK, maxDTC = 19, (maxDTM = 28) but maxDTZ = 10.
