Of all the pawns to give up, a rook pawn is certainly the least painful... Larry Kaufman recently wrote in Chess Life that a pawn is worth ~200 rating points. The rook pawn should be worth less, but it doesn't matter, because I seriously doubt that Hiarcs is playing at a 2620 FIDE level anyway... --Peter
