The question of the deepest 'Mate in N' Chess Problem must be answered in Jeremy
Morse's book on 'Chess Records' which I regret I do not have.

I think I've seen Chess Problems 'N' > 100, maybe > 200.

There aren't any 64-piece EGTs, assuming we start from the standard initial
chess position, but what is maxDTZ for 32-piece EGTs?

I don't see why you say that there are no positions with maxDTZ > 243*3.

I had not realised that (KRNKNN's maxDTZ =) 243 = 3^5, but suggest that this is
not significant.
