If you have a cheap no-name PSU that is clearly overloaded, then that can happen. But with a quality name brand PSU of sufficient specification for the machine, chance of a fire would be about the same as winning a few million on the lottery. Biggest risk is the GUI crashing, or a bugghy engine crashing the GUI and coming back to find hardly any games played
