Rxe6 is considered immediately and almost immediately it shows a draw score (=0.00 31.Rxe6 Rd1 32.Qe2 Rh1 33.Qf3 Rg1 34.Qd5 Be3+ 35.Kb2 Bc1+ etc.) After over 20 minutes (as in the game) the eval must be dropping below the score (-3.26) calculated for the selected move Qe5. It seems that Junior's conclusion after move 30 seems is that white is lost. PK
