I honestly do not think you would have any issues. For example, earlier this
year I purchased Poker Academy Pro (a $130 program), which comes with a key that
is activated via the Internet. It can only be used twice, theoretically limiting
it to two PCs. In one case, my HD died about 3 weeks after I had received the
program, and had already used the two activations. I e-mailed and was granted a
3rd. I have also made two upgrades to my computers, and again, a simple e-mail
request solved the issue. I was never given any hassle. I have also had similar
experiences with Snowie 4, a $380 backgammon program, with similarly rigid
protection schemes, if not even more rigid. Again, I had no problems.
I think the point is to not have it installed on a DOZEN machines or more
indiscriminately. I would be *extremely* surprised if you had any trouble.
