It is also worth reminding people that it is ONLY the Sept 2005 version of gui8.iup that has this problem. If you install he January 2005 version of gui8.iup then history pruning is not switched off and all Fruit 2.2 parameters can be changed and saved OK. Personally, I find the Jan 2005 GUI version fine for most things I want to do. I have Fritz 9 coming soon and will probably just import the new Fritz 9 engine files into the Jan 2005 GUI (rather than load the new GUI)so that I can continue using Fruit 2.2 with no bugs. I'll live without multiple board viewing, weather forecasts and the Turk in the red robes !! Regards, Mark
