No, I didn't do the test, because I don't have the software. But my question has to do with the agressive pruning shredder is said to have as well it's branching factor. My doubt is that shredder must have a lot of holes in the search, because it will probably skip importante lines due to the heavy pruning. So I think a good test would be to do Crafty Vs Shredder at a fixed depth. This ofcourse if the ply depth have the same meaning in both programs. Has anyone have done such a test?
