Hi all,

we have fans for settings and I am sure that Ray and Graham will not only test
Chessmaster in the future.

But for the others...even a group of testers with more than 30 fast machines at
hand still has limited ressources when it comes to longer time controls. Do you
know how many versions are out there above ELO 2500, even without Movei? And
every week there are new ones. Some update so frequently that we can“t hold pace
and give the desired amount of games.

So there will be priorities. We have "high end" testers only wanting to play
with the best, so this engines will receive 3000, 4000 etc. games. Some others,
who do not own all the commercials and do not want to buy all and just like to
run some Arena tournaments with "middle class" engines, what of course also is
fine. For many engines we have to find the right balance between overtesting and
undertesting anyway. For Fruit and others I would say that 3000 games is good
enough and I would not care to have more like for Shredder.

Best Regards
Heinz
