The new 3D interface is the main reason I am getting this program. I certainly don't need to get it for the increased playing strength. It can beat me every which way to Monday with the version 8 I have now. The version 8 also does evaluations of my positions well enough not to justify another investment. I sent an email to Chessbase a couple of years back telling them that it would be nice if they could make a graphical interface that would be so good that I would not feel the need to pull out a real board.
