I think no program will find this move. Maybe because f6 is really better and
safer, maybe because of some deep lines.
First of all white doesn't need to accept the sac immediately, e.g.
24.Be4 Qf6 25.hxg5 Qxg5 26.Qxd6+ Kg7 27.Nd5 f5 28.Bxf5 Kh8 29.Qe7
Qxf5 30.Qh4 f3 31.c4 Rad8 32.Rad1 looks much better than what happened...
Second thing that as usual human makes a lot of mistakes under pressure or lack
of time...

26.Bxg4? is leading to forced mate.

30...e4+?? is a big mistake. How to play after 31.Ke2!?

correct path to mate was
30...Qg4+ 31.Ke4 f3+ 32.Kd3 (32.Ke3 Qf4+ 33.Kd3 Rad8 34.Ne4 Rxd6+
35.Kc3 Qxe4 36.b4 Rc8+ 37.Kb3 Qxc2+ 38.Ka3 Rc3#) 32...Rad8 33.Kd2 Qf4+
34.Ke1 Rxd6 35.Rd1 Rxd1+ 36.Nxd1 Rd8 37.Ne3 Qb4+ 38.c3 Qxb2
39.Nc2 Qxc3#
