When creating trees I experience that the size seems to be limited to 2 GB. As I wanted to create a tree out of 1.3 Mio. Games with a absolute depth of 80 moves. My computer's HD (8GB) and RAM (192 MB) are not a problem, but ChessBase 7.0 says not enough space. When starting the tree it says that GB are free. Some time ago I managed with the old Fritz 5 to create a tree of 4 GB. ChessBase, Mathias Wüllenweber, said that 4 GB is the Limit. Does anyone know if in all ChessBase programs 2 GB are a new limit? Thanks for any feedback. Kind regards. Martin Müller
