I think that Deep blue never got that position so we do not know what deep blue know or does not know. Deep blue is dead and I do not understand the need to speculate about it when nobody has deep blue to check it. I can add that on strong hardware Shredder has no problem to see that 41.Bf5 is wrong Even on my slow A3000(no parallel search and only 2ghz) Shredder can see that 41.Bf5 is bad in few minutes.
