I will be surprised if it happens.
The hardware advantage of gnu is probably not more than 10:1

I believe that thinker is more than 400 elo better than gnuchess and 10:1
hardware advantage is enough maybe for 230 elo in blitz

based on AEGT rating list I have

Thinker 4.6c   2547
CyberPagno 2.1 2165

Note that CyberPagno is probably slightly better than gnuchess.
some rating from Leo's list

92   CyberPagno 2.1            2206
97   GNUChess 4TM              2147

Note also that Thinker4.6c is weaker than thinker of today.

The rating that I give are only for long time control and not for blitz but I do
not believe that the picture at blitz is significantly different.
