Hi all! In the following position in a game between Hossa and FORTRESS V1.52 (POWERHOUSE@fics) Hossa saced his bishop with Bxh6 for a king attack. r4rk1/pqb1n1p1/4pp1p/2P2b2/2NP3N/7P/3B1PP1/R1Q1R1K1 w After the game I had a _short_ look at this position with crafty because I was/am sure that Bxh6 is incorrect. I found some interesting/unclear lines like: 1. Bxh6 gxh6 2. Qxh6 Qb4 3. Rac1 Rae8 4. Re3 1. Bxh6 gxh6 2. Qxh6 Bd3 3. Rxe6 Bxc4 4. Rxe7 Bh2+ 5. Kxh2 Qxe7 6. Ra3 1. Bxh6 gxh6 2. Qxh6 Qc6 3. Ra3 Rf7 4. Ne5 1. Bxh6 gxh6 2. Qxh6 Qb4 3. Rac1 Rad8 4. Nxf5 Nxf5 5. Qg6+ 1. Bxh6 gxh6 2. Qxh6 Qd5 3. Ne3 Qxd4 4. Nexf5 Nxf5 5. Nxf5 exf5 6. Qg6+ 1-3 are better for white (?), 4 is IMHO ok for white and 5 is a draw. What do the commercial programs say about Bxh6? Is there a clear refutation? Prob. there are better 2nd moves for black!?
