Hi Ali,

>I recently bought this 1996 Model.It plays very good for 1996 standards.However

>a move.I contacted the seller;and was told that this is normal. Is this true?

i am sorry to say ..no..this should not be the case
all that should be neccessary to input the move is a slight amount of pressure
it seems to me your computer might have a loose or corroded connection for the
sensory input

Do
>you have this model?

i have the 2250XL

Also what program is this? Is this one of the famous
>Commercial programs ported to a Dedicated unit?

well ALL Radio Shack dedicated chess computers are clones of other computers
generally the high-end Radio Shack computers are clones of the Saitek computers
with a Franz Morsch(of Fritz Fame) program

>Anyway here is a nice win over
>Novag Sapphire at 40 moves in 2 hours time control

this is indeed a nice win considering the RS2250XL is rated perhaps 2000 Elo
while the Sapphire is nearly 2100 Elo

Clone War Regards
Steve
