No PV bugs (e.g. apparent blunders) I know of or even truncation of the PV
during search.

Of course the very last moves might not be at GM strength; this is true for all
engines (low depth left).

Yes.  Changing the number of lines dynamically makes the search restart every
time.  This should be the case for all GUIs and engines, can anyone confirm
this?

The current limit is 1GB.
A known problem with Windows 98 makes this limit 256MB I think.
