I think I may have picked up a clue as to what's happened with the Amazon delay.
The supplier that Amazon.co.uk DID appear to be using is "Contact Sales" at:

http://contact-sales.co.uk/EXCALIBUR_PRODUCT_LIST.htm  who have a release date
of 28th October.

However, Amazon.com (as opposed to Amazon.co.uk) are supplying F9 from a company
called Viva Media,LLC at:

http://www.humorlinks.com/cgi-bin/amazon/amazon_products_feed.cgi?item_id=B000B643GA&search_type=AsinSearch&locale=us

whose release date is 30th NOVEMBER

I am wondering whether the only suplier Amazon could get to fulfil it's orders
at the crazily cheaper advertised price is Viva Media - hence the aded delay of
1 month ?
