Way too many mistakes by both players. One interesting sidenote, after Fischer's 17th move, Botvinnik was quoted as saying, "Up to hear I had to only remember my analysis, though that was not easy. I had a recollection of the black queen being trapped somewhere on the K-side; and following this track I managed to recall the whole variation. At least everything was in order- on the board was the familiar position; then suddenly it was obvious that in my analysis I had missed what Fischer had found with the greatest of ease at the board. The reader can guess that my equanimity was wrecked." When it was over, Fischer said that after the adjournment he had thrown away a win. Botvinnik at first disagreed, but upon further analysis, Agreed. Interesting Game. Regards, George
