Well, I just did it using Arena. Even as I speak my engine is playing Fruit 2.1 across the network. Woohoo. In Arena you set the time controls and then in the File menu (on both machines) you select Network game and choose a shared file. (You will need a shared folder where the gamefile is saved.) It simply writes the moves to the shared file. On the PC that is playing white just hit Ctrl-Z to kickstart the game. It seems to work ok. I don't know how you would automate a match... I didn't check to see if Arena takes commandline parameters. Although, there is free software (AutoIt) that could be used to automate Arena but that's another kettle of fish. Good luck! Ross
