Hi Eelco,

I actually started with the Pro Deo XP setting (only MISC_20 and all book and
engine learners off and extensions checks low), being my favourite engine still
after fiddling with the PD parameters for a while. It gave about half a pawn of
advantage for black. Then i suddenly remembered that Rebel C4 Macheide sometimes
looks like the best settings ever and could even be so, so tried it and with
success. Then of course i was curieus what Macheide 93.75 would do, although i
think it is a softie without urge for tactics. It did not do much, so i thought
what's next? Knowing that the good old (standard) Judith Polgar personality is
good at tactics, i tried it and it looked quite OK. Very amused by your text
though, thanks for this mornings hilarity.

Now i will fiddle further with Pro Deo. My playing around with the Pruning =
PRUNE BAD MOVES = 1 or 2 in combination with different selective search levels
often is really good, but sometimes slows down the engine too much to be of
practical use.

Greetings,
Kaj
