Actually What happens with polyglot is that The first couple of games UCI engines plays using Polyglot there is somthing wrong with its ponder/depth. For example, it goes from 12 to like 1 or 4 all of a sudden and hangs. Which Results in a weaker performance but after awhile it plays normal. Basically first couple of games the Engine plays very weak due to prblem with polyglot.
