Hi all, a new ponder hit correlation table by Kirill Kryukov is available to see how well engines can predict each other. Kirill took the games with annotations to calculate this. http://kd.lab.nig.ac.jp/chess/cegt/expected-moves-table-good.shtml Please avoid speculations about clones because of high correlation here. CEGT testers disadvise to use Fritz 9 GUI (with or without update) for engine tournaments or matches. Several testers saw probs here and interrupted those matches, no such games are counted in our lists. This GUI is not used in CEGT and also not the Fritz 8 GUI with server update. Better to use Shredder 9 GUI. An UCI.dll I can recommend is for example version 1.0.1.5. For many matches we are using Arena or Shredder Classic whenever possible, but I do not claim that this ones are without probs. Best Regards Heinz http://www.husvankempen.de/nunn/
