I hope in some years time I can call myself a rank and file collector. I have sufficient number of computers and have been interested in chess computers more or less since 1983 and heavy bitten since 1986. My interest is of course owning the machines and looking at the beauty in them gives joy in itself. One can find beauty even in some objectively horrible looking machines But I need something more; they have to be interesting to play with. OK, it might be said that I don't need 5 exclusive boards to play (I do not do simultanous exibitions..)but I guess that is why they call us collectors. I think you are to modest, Steve. With one of the world's largest and most interesting collections you can hardly be counted with the rank and file collectors. Sorry, but you must be considered to be world class. Erik
