Unless I am missing something, the sentence is correct as it is written.  The
UCI *engine* Shredder does not have any opening book support.  The Shredder
*GUI* has book support, but that is not the same thing.  It means that Shredder
cannot use its own book when playing in other GUIs like Sigma Chess, Jose or
Scatha.

The top of my priority list right now is engine configuration, followed by
better
PGN functionality.  I also consider to add some analysis features, like MultiPV
and automatic analysis of games.  I currently don't plan to add any
sophisticated
engine vs engine or engine tournament features.  In my opinion, command line
utilities are better suited for such tasks (and I *do* plan to eventually write
such
a utility).
