I'm trying to install CA2.0 on my laptop. Compaq Presario 1250. 300mhz AMD K6,
64meg SDRAM, 6gig HD, NeoMagic MagicGraph 128XD video, Win98.
I've installed it on my home machine. 166mhz AMD K6, 64meg SDRAM, 4gig HD, ATI
Rage II 3d, Win95. No problems with that install. (I did home machine install
after laptop failure which means it's not the installation disk)
I've e-mailed Chess Assistant but thought that if someone here knows of a fix
or has had a simular problem they could e-mail me. (Maubo@ij.net)
During installation I get an error message "can not read ca.exe Err=1" I
followed the troubleshooting instructions from the manual, no help.
Could it be (DOS based) Chess Assistant 2.0 will not run under Win98's DOS
mode? I thought "DOS mode" was "DOS mode".
