After reading the posts concerning the value of knights and bishops in an endgame with queeen and bishop vs. queen and knight, It brought to mind an interesting sidenote. Has nothing to do with such position, but interesting nonetheless. There may have been others, I dont know. But Bobby Fischer is the only person I was ever aware of that at the BEGINNING of a game gave bishops a higher value than knights. Regards, George
