Yes, Fabien should be able to improve that. My little Amateur switches to e5
faster than Fruit (p4 2.8ghz, about the same hw as yours):

12 -235 909 3626591 Bxb4 Nd4 Qe1 Qb2 Nc2 Nxc2 Bxc2 Rxb4 Qe2

16 -450 17042 66373720 Bxb4 Nd4 Rg3 Rxb4 Bd3 Qxd1 Nxd1 a3 Nc3 a2 Nxa2 Rxa2 e5
dxe5 d6 e4 d7 Rb8 Bf1 Ne2 Bxe2 Rxe2
13 -450 17042 66373721 Bxb4
13 -355 18759 72775265 e5 Qxa3 e6 Qc1 Rxf7 Qxd1 Nxd1 a3 Nc3 Nd4 g3 a2 Nxa2 Nxa2
Bxg6
14 -334 24337 93506408 e5 Qxa3 e6 Qc1 Rxf7 a3
15 -362 41269 152988202 e5 Qxa3 e6 Qc1 Rxf7 a3 Qxc1 Nxc1 Bxg6 Rf8 Nf5

Of course, I use the ply reduction trick (pat. pend.) to speed up the fail-low
resolution.
