Worth a try anyway. I kind of figured it wouldn't help much when reading the documentation. Looking at the SPEC Crafty scores your speed seems reasonable. An Athlon 64 3200 is about 8 to 10 percent lower clocked but performs a tad better than the XP 2700+ to XP 3200+ cores. MvH Dan Andersson
