George There is no "formula" as far as I know, because compression and other factors are involved. But a very approximate guess can be made given the currently available data. Here are the numbers for the de Koning format used in Chessmaster. TB3 = 50KB TB4 = 23MB TB5 = 5.7GB This means that you can make a reasonable guess that the (x+1)-man files will be anywhere between 250 and 450 times larger than (x)-man files. I don't think that Marc Bourzutschky ever reported the total file size for all of the 6-man files that he generated. But my guess has always been that it would be about 2TB, as this would be 350 times the size of the 5-man files. jm
