I came across the same problem on one of my older machines. I put it down to an old GE Force 2 graphics card. To overcome I just open one of the older versions of chessbase boards, e.g junior 9 etc and load Fritz 9 in that. Fritz 9 appears to run ok with GE Force 3 although the req suggest Ge Force 5 as a minimum. Keith
