A related question is what op system to use? I'm confused. I see some computers
preconfigured off the shelf with AMD 64 processors that come with Windows XP
Home preinstalled. Isn't a special version of Windows XP Professional necessary
to make use of the "64" advantage of those processors? I hope you or somebody
can clarify this for me. I'm also looking to buy a new computer, probably a
low-end model because of the cost, and this has my stonewalled. I'll probably
get an AMD 64 of some kind, I just worry about having the right op system for
it.
