Hi Uri,

apart from being already strong in endgames without tablebases there are other
factors:

- although Fruit 2.2.1 with default EGTB depth=8 is conservative compared to
Shredder and not slowing down that much, it is still significiantly

-relatively few games come to the stage when access to EGTB occurs and
especially weaker programs are finished off already in early middle game

- Fruit 2.2 already plays the positions more or less sufficiently correct
without tablebases, so accessing them does not change a lot in the outcome of
many games
