Today the situation is different because programs are stronger so games against the same players are not going to be interesting and for games against super GM you need a lot of money. Humans got money for playing with machines exactly because of the fact that there is interest in such matches. I guess that most of the readers of this forum would like to see GM's in the ssdf list but they understand that it is not practical because the GM's are not going to play there without getting a lot of money for playing hundreds of games(not that playing less than 300 games by one GM is not going to give GM's reliable ssdf rating).
