This could work in any GUI.

Ask the author. Arena is (as far as I know) still in the stage of the
early way to support FRC. It has not payed to wait for a compatible
extension of the UCI protocol which did not come compatibly. So the
author seems now to be inside a dilemma what to do.

We all have to wait and see, what will come in Arena or not.
