If you play against weaker opponents then it is probably better to use negative
contempt factor.

Based on some analysis it seems that
Fruit's implementation of contempt factor is the opposite relative to other
programs and fruit needs negative contempt factor not to want a draw.

it seems that negative contempt factor simply means in fruit that the score for
draw by repetition is negative so it tries to avoid it.


Maybe fruit can earn some points in CEGT or SSDF if they test it with negative
contempt factor but it is going to lose these points when the opponents become
stronger in the future.

It is only a guess and I did not test it so I do not know.
