Ignore this things if it really true. > >Best, >Daniel Hi Daniel, I did notice later that Arena sends "variant fischerandom" in WB mode. In Arena UCI mode, one must analyze the FEN to notice that it is FRC. SMK announces by switching on option "UCI_Chess960". All 3 work fine now in my engine. I will ignore this X-FEN stuff till there is a useable GUI that supports it. Best, Matthias.
