I am not sure I understand what you are trying to say. Of course I can't guarantee that the user will always remember to set the "FRC" flag correctly when setting up a position, just like I cannot guarantee that he uses the strongest setting with my engine. If the user forgets to set the FRC flag, that's a user error. If the GUI does not provide an FRC flag when setting up a position, we have a limitation in the GUI's FRC support. In neither case does this have anything to do with the protocol used to communicate with the engine. Tord
