Strange, indeed. It tried with SMK to figure out what the problem is on my
system, but we didn't find it. The java is just a download from the sun site. I
use the 64bit version of 1.5.0.05. I use Gnome2.10. Esd and alsa work well on my
system. But the sound in the java GUI is horribly squeaky, delayed or not there
at all.
Do you use KDE or Gnome?
