As far as I know that machine used not only a strong chess player but pshychological tricks so if chessbase programmers programmed something that is called the turk then it is only logical that on purpose they make it harder for the opponent by pshychological tricks like what you call bad graphic. My guess is that it is no bad graphic but design decision in case that what was described here is correct.. Uri
